Book #4 Skin Trade by Laurell K. Hamilton
This is book 17 in the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter series. This book sees Anita hook back up with Edward, Olaf and Bernardo. They are in Vegas hunting Vittorio who sends Anita a present.
This book goes back to the old school Anita with great story telling and good fights. Anita is still a succubus, so there is still a little sex, but not nearly as much as some of the middle books. Welcome back to good story telling!
If you've hung in with the series, this is a nice reward. Recommend this one too.

Book #3 Dreamhunter by Elizabeth Knox
This book is by a kiwi author. I actually found it while browsing at the university bookstore.
The world the book is based in is similar to this one except it contains "The Place". This is where dreamhunters can go to collect dreams. They then bring the dreams back to the regular world where they can share the dreams. The most sought after dreams are ones that bring healing and peace, although, there are nightmares to be found as well.
The story is about a girl Laura who, along with her cousin Rose, are turning 15 and are preparing for their Try. This is the ritual where children attempt to enter The Place. If they succeed, they become dream hunters who are able to earn wealth and fame. Laura is the daughter of one of the greatest / most powerful dream hunters. It follows her to the Try, and to the world she experiences after.
It's a great story. I think there's also a sequel. The writing is great, and I liked the story. I definitely recommend this one.

Book #2 - Dark Harvest by Lynda Hilburn
This is the second book in the Kismet Knight series. It was nearly as good as the first one. Hallow is a good villain.
I was entertained by the bit where Kismet is affected by Hallow and heads out to the bar trolling. That was good.
Overall, I'd give this one a 7. Clickety for amazon.

Book #1 - The Vampire Shrink - Lynda Hilburn
This is the first book in the Vampire Shrink series by Lynda Hilburn. It introduces Dr. Kismet Knight, a psychologist who gets a wanna-be vampire client. Through this girl, she is drawn into a world that contains the hunky vampire Devereaux.
It's a good story, a little bit racy (what do you expect) and well written. I was highly entertained.
I'd recommend it. Here's the amazon link.
Happy reading!

Reading and posting
I've decided to start recording the books I read. I'm just not sure how many books I read in a year, so I'll start with the one I started and finished today and then will post each book as I finish it.
